The stay was really really nice. It was a very well decorated and nicely appointed hotel in a local area, close enough to Whitby town centre, the harbour / pubs and local hotspots. Good services were available.

Excellent breakfast choices provided, perfect for fueling up before a day of adventure. The large double room offered a comfy bed, ensuring a solid night's sleep.
The ensuite bathroom felt cramped, difficult to maneuver in during use. Shower temperature fluctuated dramatically, and the TV reception left something to be desired.

cozy, cozy, cozy
I loved how the self-contained annex room offered absolute privacy and a unique feel with its own entrance. The extensive breakfast menu blew me away. I couldn't get enough of the perfectly cooked full English options! John and Linda's extensive local knowledge made my exploration of the area so enjoyable and seamless.
100% recommend 😊❤️

Absolutely disappoining! The ensuite was a ship's cabin, and the shower was either scalding or frigid, deplorable. And the tv? Constant interruptions! I expected a complimentary gesture for my troubles, but alas, just regular treatment. I almost thought about giving a good review, but just couldn't!

Cozy stay with lovely hosts!
We had such a comfy 2-night stay! The annex room was super cozy and had all these cute little crafts. Breakfast was unreal, made in our room! Tried the full English and it was delish. Only thing was the parking was kinda tight. John and Linda are just the best, so friendly!
